Re: Gyro aiming - mixed controls

This sounds like a quirk in D3's input processing that probably can't be fixed internally without source code access. However, lets say you make custom directinput.dll for descent 3 that blends the inputs together before the game processes them, this could definitely be possible. But I don't think a...

I would, for gaming performance the i7 is going to be really close.

Or really, I would recommend an Ryzen 7800X3D, because it is better at gaming than all of them. (Very happy with mine.)

The F is the part that means it has no iGPU, the K is if it is overclockable or not, but the K also has a higher power limit so it is a little faster.

Re: Looking at a new build.

Note that officially the 13900F is a 65w CPU (with a 220w turbo) where the 13900KF is the exact same CPU but 125w (with a 253w turbo). However, odds are your motherboard is set to enable turbo forever (or can be configured as such), so they are pretty much the same in practice.

Short answer: Microsoft does not sell windows/office for the same price everywhere, these keys are legitimate, but officially meant for "developing countries" where $120 USD is like 6 months pay for the average worker.

Must be a Canada thing then, because usually the 13900K is a fair amount cheaper. The recommendations for cooling one that I see floating around are "Use a 240MM AIO.", which would be plenty effective if you go that way. Other popular coolers are the Thermalright Peerless Assasin 120 SE or...

"Load optimized defaults" pretty much universally kicks you back down to JEDEC memory timings/voltage/etc, which in some cases can be a pretty significant slowdown from XMP. However, as you have DDR5-6200, you might be pushing a bit harder than the CPU or some other component can handle. S...

Check for updated BIOS, make sure your RAM is getting the correct voltage/frequency/timings. There are also a couple CPU voltages for like system agent and the memory controller (I think they may show up as VCCSA and VCCIO IIRC) on Intel CPUs that can sometimes improve POST reliability with a 0.05v ...
