yeah push-pull wires, heavy, stiff. Similar to the tendon&bone mechanical model, typically used for control of small simple manned aircraft. AFAIK it has more friction than pneumatics, and IMHO it's unnecessarily heavy and (relatively) expensive. I'm not sure it's necessary for it to be so heavy...

It's a low power system, the only power input will be the human operator. I'm merely using the hydraulics as a fluidic lever, it doesn't need amplification which is why i can do away with valves.
