Thanks, that's really what I wanted. Still, it really is a political message without really any facts in it, other than a singular opinion and experience.
But, don't count me out bash. I truly hope we're doing the right thing, Iraq stabalizes, and democracy flows.

Quote size
Everytime someone uses the quote feature, I get serious eyestrain on both mozilla and IE. I'm running 1280X1024 on a 21 inch monitor. The quote text is extremely tiny, and to read it properly I have to get very close to the screen. Anyone else have this problem, or a solution?

Edit: Whoops, for some reason the new DBB quoting font is like size 7 for me, and I missed the 1st LT. part. lol. Still, the following holds: Funny, if someone posted the exact *opposite* letter on this board, you'd see all sorts of people demanding to see some proof. Shame, I think there is a lot o...

As far as I can tell, we need the mexicans for cheap labor. The costs they incur on us are much less than the labor money we're saving, otherwise capitalism would likely take into effect, and congress/the president would be reforming immigration. As it stands, I believe illegal immigrants aren't tha...

Jeff250, I'm not really following your logic, and if you want the biggest sponsor and originator of the Sept. 11th attack, I believe it is Saudi Arabia. Do you think we should overthrow ourselves? You know Saddam hussain, the guy we gave weapons? I mean, we've made mistakes, so other countries aren'...

I don't normally resort to 'name calling' but in this case it's not really name calling in the out-of-left field sense. You support the war in Iraq, but would not go yourself. That's hypocritical, however you slice or dice it. Maybe I could have left out 'wussy', but that's really what it comes down...

Modernizing the Middle East
Continued from Bash's post in the Draft thread I started: "Birds, I think your view of what's occurring in Iraq is intentionally myopic" Perhaps in your view I could see you thinking I am myopic, but intentionally myopic incites that I am trying to intentionally keep myself stupid, which m...

Building a PC for a friend, looking for quietness
OK so here is what we basically worked out on what he wanted to spend, not looking for debates on brands here, I'm mainly looking for a motherboard suggestion that will fit a good quiet CPU cooler, and a good case for keeping noise out with low RPM fans (I guess I could buy those seperately: CPU 3 G...

Campus-canvassing network leeches
I've had two job interviews with companies recently that have a great presentation or pamphlet at a job fair, then pull the switcheroo in the interview. These network leeches have the basic business premise to suck the value and life out of young college students: Intern with our company, and we'll ...

Couver, Thank you for the cool headed and intelligent response. I do not want to seem critical of our armed forces as a whole. When I really think about men leaving their families and the reasons they are going, shivers run down me and the hair on my neck stands. I am proud of that conviction and ac...

Hey, if you enjoy voting for politicians controlled by corporate interests, it's your right BD. Others of us are upset with the political system, with jerkoffs like Feinstein and Bush, your choices in the 2 major parties are ★■◆● and ★■◆● however you slice it. There are some people who think big bus...
