Is there any free software that will move files from one computer to another? I've always backed up to an external HD and then drug them to the new computer.

Re: Getting Run DLL error message
Was think'n......I had moved some startup programs into "Delay" in WinPatrol the other day so I moved everything back to regular startup and the DLL message did not pop up.
I'll see if that did it and then move them back one at a time to see who's doing what.
Thanks for the post.

Specs on a home computer
A friend has asked me to recommended a new laptop for him. He doesn't do gaming or video editing.......
I was thinking of at least a core i5, 8 GB of Ram and at least 1 TB of HD.
Screen size will depend on if it's going to be his main computer.
OS most likely Win 8.
What say you?

Also, I'd like to have them in a format where I can upload them to other websites and could be easily viewed by others.

A friend has a new game that he wants to play.
He needs a bigger power supply for the card.
Advised him against changing everything and buying a gaming rig.
My question is "would it even be possible?
He has a Gateway DX 4320-01-E w/ a 300 Watt PS. They say he needs a 550 watt.
