IMO Kufyit, Sandmann, Palzon, Clayman, and Behemoth should not be up there. Questionable to me also is Zero. Another one to add to that would also be shadowfox then. No, because none of them have ever had over 50% on Shadowfox in a game. Same with me. And just in case you didn't know, I had to 1v1 ...

Furthermore i really dont need approval of a DESCENT list by someone who doesnt play anymore, so please dont add criticism. You know about 99% of the Descent community no longer play anymore. This list is about what happened years ago, not today. All of the best players would suck now cause they do...

Glad to see Core Decision development is still alive. Don't rush it -- I'm expecting something good to come out of this :D What excites me is thinking of a new active Core Decision community, with a combination of D1, D2, D3, and new players. It would be nice to play a game as fun as D3 was once aga...

Again I obviously did not read the lengthy posts(too lazy), but my opinion is that while the English texts may not be 100% accurate because it is a different language than the original Hebrew and the Greek, it is close enough to understand the biblical truths. Honestly now, the Bible is not a highly...

What Matrix said is correct. Video card is fine. CPU is fine also, just re-did that and added AS5 to it today. RAM is fine, tested it in another system. PSU is fine, everything powers up like it should. Motherboard looks fine because the chipset fan comes on. I KNOW all of the components are fine ex...

None of those beep patterns are what I'm getting. I have Phoenix Bios on my pc too and those beep patterns are familiar, but this one is different. I reinstalled the CPU and HS and installed AS5. Made no difference though... I'm trying to decide what is bad. I've pretty much narrowed it down to eith...

UPDATE: Inserted the converter -- no difference. Changed some jumpers for the bios and got the pc to boot up without making any noise, but there's one small problem: nothing comes up on the screen! I don't think I ever mentioned the monitor specs though. The monitor DOES work, I tested it out on ano...

there are more people playing D1 than D3 these days. ouch. Well D1 lasted me a couple months. I might try it again once I install 98 SE... but UT2004 is so much more fun in 16 vs 16 CTF games in lag where my shots actually hit 99% of the time! :) The main reason I have not played D3 since before su...

Everything is new Merlin. I love the case, I just wish it came with a 24-pin PSU. Flatlander, I checked and the CPU fan is plugged into the mobo's marked CPU fan slot. It looks like my only option is to buy a new PSU. I'm going to try to sell the psu that came with the case to help make up for the c...

D1/D2 on 98 vs XP
I have the resources to put together an old 98 rig... in fact, I already have one. My questions: - What are the benefits of 98 vs XP? - What are the disadvantages of 98 vs XP? - Is it worth going from 1600x1200 to whatever a 98 machine can do? - Is it worth the hassle of spending the 20+ hours getti...

On the other hand, it was clear that the D3TL was going downhill years before III was founded. I don't think III had anything to do with D3TL losing inactivity. The D3TL was/is going downhill no matter what happens. It's interesting how III was formed, because it's really a very dynamic team, which ...

As a hardcore Descenter and gameplayer in general, here are my ideas and suggestions for the mod: 1. It's a doom 3 mod, therefore the graphics pwn. Also, I really like the idea of shadows and the possibility of a more gothic looking descent. Make it look like it came from hell :D 2. Fusion. Descent ...

III has a mix of players from D3K, WP, and a couple strays like myself and Shadowfox ;) From what I remember of ANTS, I was over 60% on them in a Vamped D3 D3TL match when I was on 56k several years ago. In contrast, on 56k now I can't beat Javed(one who I think III would consider a middle roster pl...

Gas Prices: How high can they go?
I've heard about prices going up past $3 during summer. Exactly how high will prices go, and what are we going to do to alleviate the problem?
As for me, this is one darn good reason not to own a car and drive to school... I guess public transportation is a good thing.

I only play D3 on-line when there is a player worth playing or a level worth flying. Since the only games I get to play are in BI3 and Halcyon I don't play very often, especially since there is no one I get pleasure out of killing. Since most of D3's stronger players are gone, I've switched to D1/D2...
