I think you're stuck trying to turn on the magnetic accelerator. The switch you described in the 'burning' room needs physical contact from your ship to activate, you can't just shoot it.

If you've collected two keys, then the last one you collected the red one, R-1, right? The forcefield at the top of the tower is only disable-able from inside. So, what to do: On the same wall, to the left of the R-1 pickup, is a passage. Go through that, and there should be a security checkpoint (i...

According to the editor, I'm running v1.1 [beta 9|Atan 0.3_3i]

EDIT: Fixed now, hooray. But to top it off, virtualgcc.exe now crashes whenever I try to compile anything through d3edit. /sigh

Someday I'm going to be known as the user of inifnite problems and/or annoyance :/

Custom textures

So i've created some custom textures for an upcoming level. I sorta figured it out from scratch (I couldn't find a tutorial) However, d3edit crashes frequently when viewing them. Steps taken: 1|Create .gam with entries for new textures 2|Package .gam and all .ogfs in a hog2 file 3|Change hog2's exte...

Happy holidays

Today I got my first chance to visit the DBB in a while. A lot has changed: A few new faces (or maybe I forgot a few), a donate feature up, and general christmas cheer :) I've been fairly busy the last few months what with standardized testing, applications, and midterms, but I realized I miss this ...
