I have found the code doing turn banking, and have removed this behaviour from D2X-XL for D1 missions. Very nice and very authentic. However, I like the feel of banking. Can you make it so that can be toggled for D1 missions? Should I put that in the suggestions? I have completely changed the Desce...

For the bug where I start the game and I still see my desktop, but in D2X's resolution, I think it happens every time if I have Trillian running. Curious that you're having that problem. I use Trillian all the time and never see that. Is your Trillian set to "dock" the contact list(it's a...

Re:
The D1 exit crash bug happens when you exit a mine and the exit sequence should be played. The D1 palette bug shows in completely scrambled textures. There are some screenshots one or two pages back in this thread. Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce either of them. You might be happy to know... it's...

...this is a bug I have fixed in v1.5.116 which was caused by some changes to D1 trigger handling in v1.5.114. Unfortunately, the effects of this bug are stored in save games made after it was introduced. You will have to replay that level, or the one before. Sorry. Yup, I went back a couple saved ...

FAT32 doesn't journal. It'll catch up to you. No it wont. Heh, yes it will. Particularly as often as BSOD prone 98 is. Data corruption is very easy to accomplish with FAT32. Just a thought... and it may have nothing to do with it... I recently learned about a graphic intensive program used with designing interiors... that will not function on systems where an integrated video card is used. '-debug' only leads to more messages being output to the game console. It doesn't have any comparable effect to running dle-xp in a debugger. I'm betting you meant D2X-XL ;) Yes, That's probably all '-debug' is supposed to do, but here's what I'm seeing: I've seen the D1 level exit crash so much, t...

Over the years, I've seen lot of Western Digital drives go belly up while still under warranty. I've seen a time when most of the Seagate drives we got at one time were total crap and we were getting warranty on them seemingly right and left. At another time, I've seen a few compatability issues wit...

Diedel, As you know, there has been some issues with D2X-XL crashing when finishing Descent 1 levels... It looks like that started between ver 1.5.30 and 1.5.33 (Windows). I've desperately wanted to proceed past a level I'm at in the missions set (level 11) and backed off the versions until I was ab...

Diedel, 1.5.70 unable to open saved game positions saved under previous D2X-XL versions. Crashes the game, no error reported. My most recent saved positions were with 1.5.68 (both Descent 1 and 2 games) and 1.5.70 crashes when attempting to load them. However, a fresh game saved under 1.5.70 re-load...
