Sorry for the disappearing act folks, its a very long and hard story and some day we would love to sit down and tell it and I'm sure it'll be told.

Until then we appreciate all of the support you have given us and hope for further support in the future.

Sincerely,

Actually there is more to it than just a trademark. We did a great deal of research before starting on our current path. The trademark is just the ability to use the Descent logo and the name in conjunction with a game and more specifically a sci-fi shooter. The copyright is still owned by Parallax ...

Looks good. If you experience problems with load times or swaping I would seriously consider investing in a 7200 RPM hard drive.

The only other concern I would have would be the LCD speed but given the standard that shouldn't be a problem. Looks like a good choice to me.

Tablet? Thought it was smaller than "notebook". The notebook I plan on getting (ASUS A8JS-4S013P) will be my next system (hope Core Decision runs well on it) and that's smaller than what Roid wants. I wanted something that would be as good as a new PC from scratch for games, hence the pro...

I wish you had talked to me about this before jumping to this conclusion. Please do not push the responsibility of this onto the Core Decision team members, they had nothing to do with it. This has always been a voluteer effort and to my knowledge none of the Core Decision studio was involved. I was...

Exchange Server. Need Help.

Hey, we have ran into some problems with installing our Exchange Server and I was wondering if anyone here would be able to help us with it. Wasn't sure but you never know what experience some people have.

Thanks,

We can't do anything with the Descent levels. Users are welcome to do anything they want but due to the sensitive nature of our product and the close similarities it has to the game Descent we feel that it would be stepping across a boundary that we cannot afford to cross.

Actually I think the limitation is PS 2.0; The engine supports 3.0 presently but there are fallbacks for 2.0. If you look at the specs on the engine and the minimum requirements posted here you should find the acceptable range.
