I also have lines showing up on the main descent screen as it loads...the screen showing the planet and ship. I did not have these lines before.

After days of port openings and reinstall now this! I get online, I can join a multiplayer game. The problem is after a few seconds to half a minute my computer freezes. Did you unzip the .mn3 file from the .zip file before you put it in your missions directory? I unziped the file into the missions3 directory. You don't have the mission the server is running. The autodownload doesn't work when the game is autolaunched. I went to the missions and downloaded the level BEFORE joining the game? For example, on the mission abend2...I downloaded that level...made sure it was in the mission folder and then trie...

I am REALLY close to getting back on descent. Finally, figured out the connection problem...now I can see an address in multiplayer. It seems my hangup now is that it says,

fail to open mn3 line 0

So what is up with this...what am I missing...any help
