For the curious: img_0004-descr.jpg - The only person with a Russian caption is "Olesya". The stress would be on the second syllable of her name, so it would be pronounced 'alesya' (or 'alesa') with the 'e' as in the English word 'bet'. img_0005.jpg - FC is holding some sort of bread (whic...

Looking at the plans and reports for this LAN party and others, it seems that these folks generally rent existing LAN gaming facilities for a certain period of time in places like St. Petersburg or Moscow rather than congregating at someone's home or bringing their own equipment to a large facility....

Forsaken (used)

Retro Software has at least one used copy of Forsaken for $5.00:

A few weeks ago they actually had some new copies for the same price, so it might pay to watch this site if you want a retail copy.

GameEdit Levels Not Hosted on Planet Descent

Quite a bit of attention has been given to the design tutorials formerly hosted on GameEdit, but I haven't heard too much noise about the levels that may have fallen off the face of the Internet when GameEdit went under. In January 2004 I went through the GameEdit site and made a list of levels host...
