At work, I have a tri-monitor setup. I upgraded my work PC recently.. it is running XP64bit while my old one was 32bit. I have a Voodoo5 5500 PCI card installed to push the third monitor (GeForce Quadro FX for the first two). Its working fine, except the 3rd screen, the video properties say.. "...

Re: 2 broadband connections, 2 routers, 1 switch
Yeah i know - Thats why i prefaced it with "The easiest way is..."
And there are many affordable 24port switches out there - thats the easy part of that setup is the switch.
I was just offering an alternative, after all it is the old-school way of doing it.

Easiest way is the Dual WAN Router. NewEgg has one for $150, and includes VPN support.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124160 The old school method: Setup a PC with three network cards, it will act as your DHCP Server. 1 network card for... the DSL the Cable & the Switc...

Core Unlock..
I have searched this online and cannot find where anyone has even asked this question... When you unlock cores (Say a Phenom II x2, and unlock the others to make it an X4) does that change the processor itself? My system does not have a core unlock feature. Id like to buy an upgrade for my rig, Unlo...

Thats interesting. Either way, someone got it Wrong. Coolermaster or Thermaltake. And both are very reputable brands. The first picture is the top of the Thermaltake V6 BlacX case, showing off the 200mm case fan. The second picture shows the Coolermaster 200mm fan, and as you can see, it overlaps al...

I must be stupid. Correct me if im wrong - but i have always been under the impression that Case Fan Sizes (120mm for example) were based on the actual "Hole" where the air passes through. I ran into an issue with a PC build for my brother.. We purchased a Thermaltake V6 BlacX case: http:/...

I have the one for Windows XP, but on the page it gave you a list of XP, XP64bit, Vista, and 7. Now, they only give you the tool as a download for XP. They still provide instr...

Both are helpful.
My system, i am adding a RAID array to an existing machine. So it will have a Single 250gb Drive with the OS, and a Second 2x1TB Raid1 for storage.
The system I am building for my nephew will be a Single 2x1TB Raid1. OS installed on the RAID.

Lets return to the Topic at hand fellas. Take your Flamewar to another thread. So yes: D1, D2, and D3 would all be options. You can play All, Two, or just one. I was thinking of a "General Rankings" where everyone is on the same page, then you can filter it based on D1, 2 or 3. Team Games ...

Wireless Router with Removeable antennas
Any one have any good sugestions for a WiFi Router with removeable antennas ? all the new Linksys/Cisco routers have the internal antennas (at least from what ive found). Anybody see any new WiFi Routers with external/removeable antennas ? The WRT54G is great, but its getting dated. Thanks everyone!
