Yes. We're breeding more human resistant animals. We'll soon have super wolves or gator bears. That's actually interesting to think about. Since we're wiping so many animals out, the only animals left will either be domesticated animals or 'pest' animals that can actually adapt to us. I wonder if i...

Most influential emotion in human history?

I would say passion. Passion drives people to produce and create, it is a major source of motivation. Much of our art and technology has been a product of someone's passion.

That video is a worst case scenario where everyone is an idiot.
Reminds me of a gametype in burnout revenge where dozens of AI cars run into the same obstacle over and over as if they don't see it.

These scare ads really apply to any driving distraction, really.

No! Nononono, you've got it all wrong, see, we're not invading the area, we're stabilizing it. There's a huge difference. We're only trying to impose our own system onto others who don't really want it.

Descent seems to have died down to the point where there's just one match a day. It's a breath of fresh air being able to go into a level like this at any time.

Keyboard ignoring keys

I have this problem with every keyboard I've used: but when I tri-chord with any combination of keys on the keypad which uses \"enter\", any key that is not on the keypad is ignored, except for the down and right arrow. Is this due to the construction of the keyboard, or is there anyway I ...

I think most brains in general memorize material in sequence. If you've ever tried to memorize a song, or a speech, sometimes it's impossible to remember the whole thing without a few key words, maybe the first two words of a paragraph or something. Anyways, for someone to recall something I visuali...

The global warming debate is irrelevant in my mind: why bring it to a debate about Co2 levels? The speed of gravity.

A thought just occured to me. What is the speed of gravity?
I'm aware it's a dip in space, but it can't be instant, can it?

For example, if the sun were to suddenly dissapear, how long would the Earth orbit the sun after it had dissappeared? 8 minutes at the speed of light? is it slower, or faster?
