Re:
Since when did killing murderers become evil and not justice? Japan attacked US first did they not? If that is the truth then there should be no argument as to what measure we fought back with in my opinion. Re:
Yes. We're breeding more human resistant animals. We'll soon have super wolves or gator bears. That's actually interesting to think about. Since we're wiping so many animals out, the only animals left will either be domesticated animals or 'pest' animals that can actually adapt to us. I wonder if i...

Most influential emotion in human history?
I would say passion. Passion drives people to produce and create, it is a major source of motivation. Much of our art and technology has been a product of someone's passion.

I flew through Washington, Oregon, and half of California along the coast today in a Mooney. We had to get up to 7000 feet altitude before sitting in that flying oven became bearable! Strangely, the entire coast from mid-Oregon down was totally covered in fog... the land was very hot, and along a fi...

Keyboard ignoring keys
I have this problem with every keyboard I've used: but when I tri-chord with any combination of keys on the keypad which uses \"enter\", any key that is not on the keypad is ignored, except for the down and right arrow. Is this due to the construction of the keyboard, or is there anyway I ...

I think most brains in general memorize material in sequence. If you've ever tried to memorize a song, or a speech, sometimes it's impossible to remember the whole thing without a few key words, maybe the first two words of a paragraph or something. Anyways, for someone to recall something I visuali...

'Double Slit Experiment' question
Reference
Instead of adding a detector, why not move the screen in which the bands appear progressively closer?
Would that work? Does it still interfere somehow?
I haven't been able to find anything regarding this question...

The global warming debate is irrelevant in my mind: why bring it to a debate about Co2 levels? We are currently burning a random chemical that makes a large explosion into the atmosphere as fast as we possibly can. This in itself is a negative thing, but it is a limited resource. If we don't slow do...

Consciousness: What is it?
I'm curious to know what people think it is, and I also have a theory. Personally, I think awareness and consciousness are two different things: Awareness is self explanatory, something having the property of being aware because there is no other way for it to function, and consciousness is a conglo...

I don't believe in a god, but the fact that anything even exists at all is an absolute miracle anyway, so who knows. So the speed of light is really the speed space can be deformed? That explains alot for me, actually. I've read numerous times that no matter what speed you're going, light always appears to be traveling the speed of light. Is it really just that, say you got to the point where you were going 100mph...

The speed of gravity.
A thought just occured to me. What is the speed of gravity?
I'm aware it's a dip in space, but it can't be instant, can it?
For example, if the sun were to suddenly dissapear, how long would the Earth orbit the sun after it had dissappeared? 8 minutes at the speed of light? is it slower, or faster?
