Re: Pumo Mines official release thread - Current: v1.1

I'm having a couple of issues with the current hosting provider and that's why I had to shut down my website temporarily, but Pumo Mines can still be downloaded directly from the server, this is the link to it: https://pumosoftware.com/files/descent/pmines_v11.7z Alternatively, you can also download...

Re: 750w PSU for Core i5 13600k + possible Geforce 1660 ti

Ok, looking at the installation instructions of the Sickleflow and a couple of videos it seems only the ARGB part is connected via daisy-chain, while the PWM is connected through a separate splitter. So I think I will connect just the ARGB to the hub, so I can be able to control the leds of all 6 fa...

Ok, cool, I will connect the 12-pins then. Now it comes another question for this build, lol. :P The case comes with three included fans and an ARGB SATA-powered fan hub with 4 fan headers, as can be seen here: https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/cases/mid-tower/masterbox-td500-mesh/ . That's pretty reassuring for sure! By the way, on a side note, I found that my Aorus B760M motherboard has two CPU 12v ATX connectors, a 4-pin one labeled as ATX_12V_2X2 and a 8-pin one labeled as ATX_12V_2X4, as can be seen on the manual: https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_b760...

This is what I got now: Core i5 13600k, AORUS B760M Elite AX Motherboard, DeepCool AK620 CPU cooler, CoolerMaster TD500 Mesh case and an EVGA SuperNOVA 750GT PSU (it's a 750w 80 plus Gold one). Intel Equivalent of AMD Sempron?

Recently a client gave me an old computer of hers to fix it, but after many tests I made, it seems its motherboard is gone for good. It has a Socket AM3 Sempron CPU, if I'm not mistaken that Sempron should be a 145 (I think is the only one that was made for the AM3?). As a small favor I thought of g...

Yeah, can't say you're not right about the music on the boss levels (an option to change the music when the boss appears like in Overload would be nuts!), but couldn't change the level music either as I always felt that both songs were already an integral part of the Target : Uranus based levels (at...

Ok, I started to play it, I almost finished level 1.
I liked the use of the TEW robots on it, and I'm happy to see some of the D2X-XL features being used!

A shame there are way too few D2X-XL missions, it allows for a good deal of scripting and dynamic environments (at least for what D2 is).

Well, I don't see an issue with the simple and straightforward name it already has, but at any case perhaps it could be named something like PTMC Archives or PTMC Vault (just throwing vague ideas here). :P
I think the main problem would be the hosting, as it wouldn't be a small site at all.

Actually and IIRC, Polytron32 works fine on Windows 10 (I think I used it a couple of years ago).
You just need to install de Descent Manager DLL Pack for it to work, but even then, it's buggy as hell.

Check your .mn2 file.
It should read 'zname = (name of your mission)' instead of 'name = (name of your mission)'.

The 'z' makes it a Vertigo-enabled mission, so D2 can read it correctly.

How 'bad' is a 1080p 27" monitor?

So I've heard from many people on many places that for Full HD/1080p, 24" is the maximum size recommended for a desktop PC monitor, as everything higher would make pixels way too noticeable, taking in account you sit pretty close to a computer monitor, unlike a TV. But how true is that? Some op...
