I'm not sure about minerva, but tumbler is mostly a \"model\" map, the author modelled most of it in a 3d app (max, I believe) and imported all the models and put a caulk hull around them.

I'll get back to you on the size thing, I can't remember that off-hand :).

That shot isn't a render, that's ingame (and with an out of date and crappy skin, to boot). This is what a render looks like :).

Honestly I haven't really played Doom 3 DM for more than a few minutes, we picked it for the engine and not any particular qualities the game might already have.

Quake 4 is brighter because that's the way the level designers wanted it. The emphasis on IC combat will certainly be darkness and shadow play, but expect a few bright maps in the mix too.

Regarding Q4: The differences in engine are extremely minor and some of them actually would make our job slightly harder, so a engine swap is very unlikely at this time.

We're definitely going to have an interior cockpit as far as the first person view goes, we just haven't decided if it should be visible from the outside.

Nice model. You should toss in an interior cockpit though. Your concussions are also a bit funky and the side vents need some work. If you can get some nice looking textures on it, it should be awsome. :) Hex forgot to mention when he posted that, that that pyro model is very far from the final one...

Thank you that someone finally got that! We ARE going to do that so if all server admins activate it THERE IS NO PROBLEM! And everyone can go home happy :).
