Eh, I think Descent 2 was the prime of the series. Best action, and the best balance. Finding the keys didn't get to monotonous when the levels were so varied (and the music kicked ass 8) ). Descent 3 single player was sort of fun, but it completely destroyed the plot IMHO. It made very little sense...

Honestly, go for the cheapest if there is a return policy. I've got a cheap wireless USB adapter (Hawking) and it works dandy. The technology is so widespread at this point that the only difference between a no-name brand and a big brand is the difference is price. That and maybe a warranty.

Run a program that can check temp levels, like Speedfan, and rule out overheating... you never know.

I accidenlty discovered that when firing weapons fromt he Guide-Bot cage area (like inside of it, after you've let him out), no weapons are discarged. You lose ammo/energy/missles accordingly, but no weapon effects of any kind occour.
