Are you people kidding me?! How have you never heard of it? Arrested Development is easily one of the 21st century's best TV shows!

Never heard anyone use Wilco in place of Whiskey before.
He could possibly be referring to Wilco's album Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, but the music nerd within me never misses a chance for such speculation.

I was a huge fan of SG-1 about three or four years ago... it was a decent show for the first five or so seasons, but got pretty boring after that. Atlantis always seemed dull to me. BSG has an awesome storyline, but bad characters. Well, actually, Admiral Adama, Tigh, and Roslin are pretty good - it...

A lot of people just don't want to put in the effort to really get involved in a show that makes you think very deep. It is a very VERY deep show and you need to keep track of almost every episode as it is incredibly complex. But a VERY good show and very character driven at the same time. I'm a pr...

Fail, Mobius. You meant to say \"It's easy to demonstrate, too\"; you forgot the comma. You also said \"that\", which, if I recall correctly, is evil and should be banned from the English language.

So does this mean that they would have eventually physically died anyway? Interesting idea, but why would the first humans mentioned in the Bible live for hundreds of years, yet degenerate down to only 70-100 years in the present if there wasn't some sort of physical decay as well? The idea that dea...

Yeah, I mean, who cares? Stars might be bigger, but they can't do anything except explode, and since the Sun is still several billion years away from that, IIRC, I think we'll be okay.

That video was cool, though. I never realized the biggest stars were that much larger than the sun.

Of course, many (perhaps the vast majority) of Americans seem to think that \"being a Christian\" is going to church twice a year. It makes it a little bit more challenging to determine what Christians actually believe on this subject.

I agree with most of what you said on Genesis - I remember Drakona wrote a great post to that effect on Genesis 1 a while back, which is definitely in line with other stuff I've learned good Biblical interpretation lately. The whole issue of things dying before sin came into the world seems like the...

Theistic Evolution

I've been a bit surprised at the number of Christians on this forum (Foil, Kilarin, maybe Lothar) who don't have an issue with evolutionary thought.
