Sounds like a plan; you fix the polys, I fix textures.

Should I send you what I've done with the system 7 models? Most of the polys are fixed, except for a few rogues. Haven't gotten to Boarshead yet.

At the rate you're going, you could have the whole game done by the end of next week. I still need to fiddle with the system 7 models. :D

Yeah, I'll do the reactors.

I've been doing the task manager thing since I realized it was pmv's fault.

And yes, I generally move bits I need to work on away from the main model before I work.

And the reactors for each system still need to be done.

Deidel, if you ever get the Polytron source code, remove pmv. I'm on the border of classifying that as malware. Just because I closed Polytron doesn't mean pmv closed. And if I have one instance of that running and I don't know it, I can't run games.

Back to work.

Was \"clip shadows\" the big performance killer you were talking about? Because I turned that on after downloading the new version, and the levels look much better. It does kill my performance a bit, although that may be working in tandem with the cranked up smoke effects. It's so good loo...

I've already taken a bit of footage from DXX, and I planned on having it fade to LOR. I was also going to use levels like Alhambra, Speed!, and Warp Shockwave to show off the other features. I'll try out your suggestions, too.

1. Apparently I'm not done with any of the models. The Green Spider's legs keep casting wonky shadows, so I may have to make them immobile to keep them closed (the individual submodels are closed. I think I have to move them.) 2. I was trying to get some footage of Lunar Outpost Reloaded for the vid...

Can't download latest D2X

On the downloads page, I click the link for the Windows download, but I get a page that seems to link to 1.9.4. The available links there are 1.9.7 and 1.9.3.

Any level that has robots in it has a .hxm file with it. DLE usually creates an hxm for any level with robots in it. I can create a test level, put a few robots in it, and there would be no hxm with it.

Deidel:

Let's deal with the D2 bots first, then go for D1. someone else will have to do the Vertigo bots, as I don't have Vertigo.

We could do every other system for D2. You take systems 1, 3, 5, and I'll do 2, 4, and 6. Then we can get to D1. We can divide those robots up, 10 for each of us.

I assume the D1 bots will get the same treatment?

Well, as long as we're critiquing, I'd like to say I do think that both Lost Levels and Bahagad had great architecture. Although there were a few parts in LL where the solution to a puzzle was a little too well hidden. Other than that, and a few other gripes (LL story seemed a bit weak), they were v...

render2texture was set to 1 when I went into d2x.ini. I changed it to 0, and the monitor was worse. And d2x.ini I never usually touch, all the values are default.

DLE is 1.5.51, D2X is 1.8.32.

Only special eefect I'm using is the smoke.
