This is just for clarity.
Jesus interpreted means \"The One Who Saves\"
Christ interpreted means \"The Anointed One\" same as Messiah does.
Correctly interpreted his name is thus :
\"The Anointed One Who Saves.\"
No big deal, just figured I'd throw that in.

I actually tend to believe both parties stories. She said she consented and he admits he was really trying to get in her pants. Crude but I use that so everyone here can relate ;). The verdict hung on the point that he took 5 seconds to stop. Also given the fact that he stopped without going ahead a...

Well I don't have a political agenda. She DID admittably consent, then changed her mind. In THIS particular case, I think the fact that they were both young and that he did stop after a short 5 seconds ( took me longer to write this) are enough for me not to vilify a 16 year old kid for the rest of ...

First we have to remember these were kids. I remember doing some heavy pressuring myself when I was young. Most young girls have to be convinced. I'm not condoning it, just a fact. I think it says a whole lot, that while these kids were going at it, very passionately, that when she told him to stop,...

You should consider getting a Ham's license. They are absurdly easy to get nowadays and a good 2 meter radio can be got for around 150-200 bucks. There is complete repeater coverage on the 2 meter band that covers the whole US. I once heard a guy who was in California, talking on a 5 watt radio and ...

Here in Georgia, as long as you have business at a school(picking your kid up, dropping them off,ETC) you are allowed to carry a concealed weapon on school grounds. Also aside from the Georgia State Legislature, no other government or authority is allowed to make gun restrictions. Of course they do ...

First I want to define why I think religion is not an accurate word to describe Christianity anyways. Religion to me is man's way of trying to earn favor with a higher power by some sort of work, service or sacrifice. Christianity on the other hand, is unique in that it was initiated by God, all don...

And wherever there are faithful there are radicals who will use them to do harm to outsiders True. Not only does this happen in Islam but all religions. Many atrocious things have been done in the name of God. Christianity is by no means exempt either. The 3 main religions all originate from the th...

Hmm at this point I fail to see your point Foil. It is in context or by itself also still a statement. Also in context of those very same passages he concludes these things as well: 1 Corinthians:7-8 For a man ought not to have his head covered, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman ...

I agree wholeheartedly Foil. It was late when I wrote this and I think it came across stronger than I meant. In scripture we are commanded to submit to each other as well, all in the hopes of maintaining harmony. Sergeant Thorne is correct in the letter of the word. There is a spiritual hiearchy. 1 ...

2 Timothy 2:4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. Based on just this one verse, I believe kilarins interpretation to be more in keeping with scripture than others here. Here comes Paul saying we were all CO...

Well sure thats your opinion. In fact, I surmise to say thats exactly why the Bill Of Rights was wrote. To nullify any one else's opinions and guarantee these as Rights. We have to remember that although the founding fathers knew government was a necessary evil they wholly mistrusted it. Amendment 1...

There has to be a process where we can check to see if the person is mentally fit to own a gun. Impossible. No way to know that until the individual actually exhibits the behavior, then its too late. A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
