Re: buds bumping bass, boom ba baa boom

I tend to agree with the folks at HeadRoom. They like Skullcandy, but others get higher ratings. I've had a pair of Etymotic ER-4S in-ear monitors for years. They're great, but a little weak on the low end.

I have an unhealthy obsession with my input devices. I toyed with the idea of rolling my own controller. Here's what I would want: 1) Precise and smooth turning control that allows both easy combo of axes and good separation of axes 2) Lightning fast fwd/back/left/right/up/down control with e...

Heh! Thanks akula. I actually did find the translator software after psoting here. The trouble is the listing there doesn't match the context where I heard the term, so I suspect there is another meaning. I was (still am actually) hoping to get some help from someone fluent in the language. Asking h...

I know it's a Chamorro word (native to Guam), and I think it's an emotion. Tried googling, etc. with not much luck. Might be a slang term. Help?

Another good rule of thumb is to never let your servers sustained bandwidth exceed half of your connections rating. Due to the small packets used by the game, transport overhead (unseen by your performance monitor since it is added at the modem) becomes a large factor. Overhead varies by connection ...

Not really surprising there Roid. More than a little self selection going on there. Introverted types are the most likely to care enough to take the test, for starters. Rationals are more likely to report their results too.

IIRC, the president does not currently have authorization from congress to send troops anywhere but Iraq and Afghanistan. Bush originally asked to add Syria and Iran to the list, but had to compromise. Getting that permission now would be a tough sell.

There's some good workout templates at exrx.net I'd recommend starting with one the full body workouts lited at http://exrx.net/Lists/WorkoutMenu.html and using the 3 days a week plan. I've had good results with the single set, low rep approach (increase the weight if you can do 10 reps). It also ke...

Here is a great list of shoulder exercises. I'm currently doing shoulder presses , upright rows , and rear lateral raises . If you're looking for growth you might want to lower your reps to 8-12 (set the weight so you max in that range), do only one or two sets, and only work each muscle set once a...

Revisionist history is nothing new to US politics, but this administration does seem to enjoy it don't they? http://www.descentbb.net/ubb/wink.gif I'm convinced that very few people prefer 'truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth'. I gotta go with Testi on this one. Just lock down the important stuff. The minor stuff can be fun to play with, and it can be undone fairly easily for games where it would matter (i.e. ladders). As for the rest of the list....I can live with small bugs. Fix the crashes, and the platform compatibilit...
