I have found Free Studio Manager to be a great program for this purpose. It rips content off (almost) all DVDs and it is very user friendly. I remember reading ages ago about a search engine that searched for data on a contextual and quatitative basis - so if you asked it \"Can you recommend a good restaurant in Tokyo\" it would give you an answer based on a consensus of people's opinions. Haven't heard anything about it in age...
