IIRC the # of levels you have completed is saved to your pilot file so there's no need to use the moreclang cheat. Also, you can play D2 under XP easily by using D2X-Rebirth . In the room past the teleporters, there's a wierd texture on one wall with another (beigish) texture shaped sort of like an egg in the center. Sometimes when a patch is applied, problems are not erased. It could be that something within the main.exe has corrupted and overwriting it with a newer one won't fix the problem. I have NO idea why this is, I only know that it happens from time to time. So, blowing away all possible problem files ...

If I have to go to that extreme if all else fails, how do i just select that level to start over again.
I have previously made mistakes in my earlier days of D2 and D3 and the only way to get to the same level was to start from the beginning level as that was the only option available to me :?

just had another look at the screen shot they show and ill give it a go at the angle they r showing, however, thats what i was doing before anyway by default, bouncin them off the forcefield into the generator but nothin. Anyway, will give it another go as i love these challenges all the way with D3...
