Random elements in D1 or D2 level

Greetings.

Is it possible in D1 or D2, to create level with random elements such as:
* randomly placed chambers;
* randomly placed doors in some chambers;
* randomly placed robots.

I think that it would be incredible to meet someone in home village/town/city, who is interested in Descent like games (or any other game with similar coolness and long lasting freshness of replayability, even board game), just for exchange experience, books, faqs, programing, expand other interests...

Greetings. In my opinion, using analog controller on gamepad (like for psx) to play descent games is much more difficult than with mouse (even for experienced players). I have gamepad "trust gxt 11" and I think that I've found some nice solution for improving aiming in very universal way (...

Randomly generated levels (roguelike descent)

Is there any project in this globe to transform descent 1, to randomly generated roguelike style game? Every planet has its own climate (textures, types of chambers, etc.) and based on some defined patterns the generator could create levels with randomly placed robots in randomly created tunnels and...
