I'll go ahead and throw in my two cents on this subject. First, the issue of the sprinkling. NEVER did you see any accounts of babies being baptized in the bible, nor do you see people being sprinkled. First, some info from the encyclopedia The Encyclop?dia Britannica: ?The whole early period knows ...

ROFL!!!! I would have to say that this is a very good guess. Shouldn't be hard to guess where I was going with that. Not being dirty, but just seeing if it was capable of identifying body parts. Q17. I am guessing that it is wiener schnitzel? Right, Wrong, Close -------------------------------------...

but remember, according to the Bible, the earth is flat, seeds need to be dead to germinate, slaves are ok, menstruation is proof of woman's uncleaness, and just before the second coming, 144,000 Jews will be sealed, the rest of us are off to hell. Actually your wrong on those points. And as a matt...

Someone mentioned the commercialization of Christmas, I thought this article was interesting. It also briefly mentions how the puritans felt about it.

I think we've fallen off track on the discussion and we've really lost point on what I'm trying to bring out. So I'm going to try and get it back on track. A few things that I want to point out I don't see anything at all wrong with that, just as Lothar was saying. They weren't borrowed because they...

If you can't get behind a time of year, where people are trying a little harder to be nice to eachother...a time of year where people are going out and giving gifts to each others, the community, the poor, etc. Then something is wrong with you and your religion. hehe, something is wrong with your r...

Hopefully not; hopefully you recognize that what matters is not how my own practice superficially (or even historically) resembles some sinful practice in ages past, but whether or not I use the practice to worship the one true God. Funny, that's EXACTLY what this discussion is about. Christians ta...

Saturnalia (from the god Saturn) was the name the Romans gave to their holiday marking the Winter Solstice. Over the years, it expanded to a whole week, the 17 December to 23 December. It also degenerated from mostly tomfoolery, marked chiefly by having masters and slaves switch places, to sometime...

nah, introduced cats and foxes do so much more damage than snakes (as seen in australia). snakes being introduced into the NZ animal population would have comparitively no effect. Hehe, you should spend less time talking and more time researching. Snakes can be VERY nasty when introduced into an ar...

I love how the Descent community is turning into a bunch of Peta pansies. I'm not all for just killing things without reason, but you have to protect your home and your family. I'm seeing hay, which indicates that this is a farm. There could have been farm animals in danger, workers in danger, etc.....

Here are mine Any time which I killed Krom. That was fun. I would always make it a point to kill him. The Kansas City Lan Party. Birdseye is a small dude, but his skillz are damn good. My first match with Barry. He was new on the scene so I didn't know him, but I was quickly forced to up my game aft...

Funny Fart moments in History
Don't know why I'm on a fart kick this week, but here's some more stuff to lighten the moods. Now, me, as a guy, I love to rip a good one from time to time. Especially while in the presense of certain others. Especially best friends or family members. Thinking back to some of these moments just make...

Wow, that was a good watch. I might even start watching BG now. Cool effects too. Dude, you should have been watching it a long time ago. I had doubts about the show when I first heard about it. You know, Starbuck being a girl now and the tendency for Hollywood to screw remakes, etc.. up. But this ...
