Re: Descent 1 1/2

Io is done.

Unlike Ceres, you don't get a free quad 4 laser. Instead, you get a complementary regular 2, and have to find the rest in a secret. You might also recognize the key mechanics.

Re: Going Rambo on D1 level 6 (And other levels)

Since you can't cold start secret levels, I finished level 10 with basic weaponry and saved it at starting point of S1 level. That is why I have some points at start. I know, there is a pack of secret levels in database, but it means different level music and I'm also not sure about reactor strengt...

BC16 maybe? I think that the name "Beta Ceti Weapons Research" would sound cool for this level if it doesn't work for BCMB.

Also (not necessarily saying that I'm going to) I think that it's about time that someone worked on a secret level. Anyone agree?

(Made in D1 as opposed to D2 this time) http://www.enspiar.com/dmdb/viewMission.php?id=1121 I've added some drones and small hulks for something to shoot at. I tried using that once, but had to switch to a forcefield bridge when I couldn't tell it was there (even in 80-something percent cloak)
You can do this with a 100% cloak to get a solid black wall, or 0% cloak to get a completely transparent, yet not shoot-through-able, wall.

Class 2 Smelter: 800 from 1100 - such a high score not needed IMO I actually found the Smelter kind of intimidating. 950 perhaps? The SPIKE, on the other hand, could be dropped from 1300 to 1000-1100. It was about as deadly as a Class 1 Drone with the "imagespace" cheat code on. (Ok, mayb...

There are actually two pyrobots in the level. The other one is by the door you go through to get the red key (probably inserted in case the "first phase" didn't drop the real pyrobot). In standard D2, destroying the original would also destroy the alternate. Edit: The other version is actu...
