Messenjah, do you have any particular attachment to Nvidia? The GTS250 and it's G92b core are pretty closely related to the original G90 that came out in 2007. Its probably the fastest thing Nvida's got in your price range, but if you don't mind shopping other makes you could bump it up to a 1GB 575...

I don't know if this helps at all, but my Precision Pro actually came with a USB adapter in the box. It has what I'm guessing is a Microsoft part number stamped into it, 98427. http://a.imageshack.us/img97/9310/dscf0151mt.th.jpg It's awfully small, so it might be simpler to make then what you're bui...

Exactly! :) Considering how long it takes XP to format, install, add drivers, grab the updates and then set everything up the way you like, having an image of a clean PC is a massive time saver.

best of all, you've just now made the clean version to image. 8)

Err... You should look into making a drive image with something like Acronis True Image. In about 20 minutes you can restore a previously made image to your PC, complete with settings and drivers.

The stock heatsink isn't wonderfull, but it's not that bad either. Also, don't buy a heatsink for it's bling factor. There are to many heatsinks out there that perform similarly as a stock heatsink and simply have fancy lights and crazy designs.

It's a pain in the ass to actually find one, but look for benchmarks where CPUs arn't compared to each other while the video card is running at 1024x768. It's true that a CPU is important, but even at 1284x1024 the speed diffrence between the entire Athlon 64 line becomes rather uninspiring. If you'...
