Re: Lynching with a Pubic Hair Rope

You know, this stuff about Cain doesn't even bother me all that much. People make mistakes and some mistakes are worse than others. The media is a reflection of our culture; there was a faint hint of blood in the water and the frenzy began. It must be difficult to be a politician; the natural reacti...

right Top Gun, because not knowing what to do is far worse than actually molesting a child. A lot of people don't know what to do in many situations...kinda why I laughed after 9/11 when everyone said they would have stopped the hijackers. ★■◆● happens and people freeze. Re: How is Penn State Like the Catholic Church?

The man is going to get what he's going to get. The NCAA should ban Penn State from football competition for a year or something...they have to do something about the culture of football (and sometimes basketball) at colleges and universities. It's all about money; those players fill the stands and ...

Well it is an intriguing field of conservative candidates no doubt. Everyone thought Rick Perry was going to tear up the field, then he started talking. And the speech he gave the other day? That might be a Howard Dean type moment for him. Cain's candidacy will fade...the guy seems rather likeable a...

Woodchip, even your guy thinks it was the Perry campaign. The Democrats are just watching this from the sidelines and not giggling. They would much rather face Cain that one of the thoroughbreds.

It will never be Cain...at least not if your party wants to win. The guy seems pretty likeable and he steals ideas from Sim City so he's cool in my book, but face the music, Republicans rely on a huge amount of white america for their vote and those people aren't going to want to vote for a black gu...

Hmmm....I know of Republicans that won seats but I don't know any politician that has a (T) next to their name. 2010 was a perfect mix for the GOP, people were disenfranchised by the current administration (just like every past administration) and the GOP was able to do what they always do--convince...

TB, it's not really a question of epic fail or not. Cuda makes a post about it being on the same night as a GOP primary; I said that primary isn't a big deal considering Obama is still the president whether you like his policies or not. But he moved it anyways, so I guess it's all moot now.
