The thing that I don't understand about how planes on a treadmill works is this... What makes a plane take off? Is it the simple fact that the wheels are moving? No. Is it the simple fact that the engines/propellers are running. No. What makes a plane take off is the amount of air running over the w...

It appears that we're all slapping each other in the face for absolutely no reason. It also appears that we haven't formed a common ground for what the term \"evolution\" means within this discussion? Are we all aware that there are many different theories and beliefs within the \"evo...

Re: How are the axes separated in this rotator?

This bold part is the confusing part: return rotator(X + RandY * CurrentSpread * Y + RandZ * CurrentSpread * Z); I can't tell where the X, Y, and Z values separate, or specifically, what separates them? By my logic it is simply multiplying it all into one big number. It depends on what type the rot...

Might I add that using cross references in the bible to figure out scripture (in this case, to see what was meant by a \"day\") is not watering it down. If it is, then Jesus was guilty of watering it down when he quoted from it and used it as reference (ironically to refute the truth) agai...

Oh, so we're going back on topic now? :) It matters because some of (read, not all) hard-core Christian creationists will tell you that the entire physical universe (or at least, the earth and its creation) was created in a literal 6 human (24 hour) days. I think we've strayed from the topic. Instead of trying to fling scriptures back and forth on five different things, can we maybe stick to one thing? I know it's hard when it comes to religion and scripture, as multiple scriptures and doctrine need to be explained, but I don't see the point of the d...

Ok. I updated the wishlist with that new mobo. I also upped the 9800 GTX+ count to 3 (heheheh). I just noticed now that I'll need a different case since that fragbox case would only hold two 9800's.

I'd really like a case I can easily transport, as this is a lan box.

I am not claiming that this is the best rig config in the world. I'd just like some feedback about this it to help me see if there are any red flags that I may be missing.
