Can I play Vertigo with D2X-XL? I copy everithyng from the "Vertigo" folder to D2 folder (the setup program can't run on XP...), but nothing happens. In the "Missions" folder, there are two new mission files: PANIC.HOG and PANIC.MN2. Are they the Vertigo missions?

Oh, sorry! I mean the colored weapon lights...

When I shoot, looks like the lights are disappearing expect the weapon's dinamic light.

The lightmaps and the static colored lights are great!

Hmmm... Adding OGG/MP3 system. Using Lyris's and DJ RedLight's remixes instead of MIDIs would be fantastic.

Ohhh. I feel bad. God, I love the D1/D2 MIDI music.

Let's forget about MP3/OGG...

But I think the colored lightning need some fine-tune.

The source documentation says the audio and modem stuff commented out, and they succesfully compiled with Watcom 10 and Opus Make before they release it (without sound and network, of course).

The DOS4GW stuff included with Open Watcom.

And Descent 1 doesn't use the MVE lib.

Diedel, looks like you fixed the palette problem after loading or starting a new game. But I discovered that the palette bug comes out after pause->unpause.

I know I was annoying... Sorry. :lol:

It would be great if the game pauses when you open a menu ingame, like the old D2X-XL with old menu style.
It's annoying the robots kill me during I configure something ingame, or I give orders to Wingnut.

I loaded a game, but this bug comes when I simply start a new game. And I discovered it in the D2 Automap, too.

And a D2 bug I discovered about 10 minutes ago: if Wingnut stucks in a key-locked door, and I press ESC, he jumps far away from the door.

Now, I don't know what's going on with 1.5.57...
It doesn't load D1 levels at all and now it crashes in D2 mode when I try to open the GB menu...

Strange! I have more trouble with the latest version than the old D2X-W32.

The first option in GB menu: "go to the primary forcefield"
