Have a look at sub-level-zero on steam. It isn't out yet, but the ludum dare version is great fun. I'll be getting it the instant it's released because it promises just about everything youve mentiined here.

Yup, FPV quads for the win. Unfortunately i don't have the resources to maintain a quadcopter, (and some annoying regulations wherer i live) so instead i do fpv cars. Not as cool as flyey things, but a hang of a lot of fun whizzing around at scale 300kph. Maybe in a few years when they've sorted out...

The hard drive isn't the bit that does UEFI, it's the motherboard that does that.

I use a tiling window manage (i3), and don't have anything putting icons on the desktop.

What will you be doing with you computer?


I tend to prefer the more lightweight side of things, and so when I'm feeling productive I use i3wm, a tiling window manager. When I'm feeling less productive, or want other people to be able to use my computer, I use XFCE4
