I'm definitely still interested in some bare boards. I know of at least 5 family members that would benefit from one of these converters. These boards will make short work of it. How many boards would $50 get me?

Not really that hard to make your own. I ended up buying the parts to build 3 just not to have any extra resistors or caps left over. The cost for 3 was right around 90 bucks if I remember correctly. Was my first soldering job and considering that your not soldering directly to the chips you stand t...

Shame on you. In all directions, most of you guys are as ignorant and naive as my four year old. Enough said. Heh ,true enough. Yet, there is a huge difference in what is and what should be. Is it better to rely on intel', and have a sniper pick off a known enemy through using the method of baiting...

Posession of bomb-making materials: Prohibited for Civilians. This is common sense in a war zone. Make sure that the populace is aware of this policy. And shoot anyone in posession of bomb making materials. If they look at something suspicious and then pick it up... I'd think of it as evolution in a...

I bought a set of Razor Barracudas. All in all a nice headset with one MAJOR flaw. The inline amp is too close to the headset. The sound quality is good and the controls on the amp all still function (had them about 6-7 months now), but the weight from the amp is a distraction at times. The cans the...

For ease of use I'd suggest Mepis. Was my all time favorite for a long time. Right now I'm using Debian 4.0 and it's been stable as a rock.

New part number at Digikey is Atmega8-16PU-ND. They made the chip ROHS compliant and obsoleted other part number.

Thanks Krom. Yeah I've actually heard of these programs on several different forums. The point being to find the highest stable OC, running these programs (one for each core) for at least 12 hours, then trying to back voltages down one notch to finalize. At this point I'm still looking for hardware ...

E6600 OverClock

Anybody here got experience with the Intel BX2? I'm about to put a Core2Duo machine together and the Asus P5B-D has alot of mixed reviews. I'm leaning towards an Intel board because I've heard they are solid for the most part and that the newest ones have pretty good OC options. Plans are to overclo...

Re:

I would prefer to pay the additional 5-10 bucks and not solder it myself I agree Koolbear. My previous post was a worst case scenario that requests would not go far beyond what they are now. Another option is just purchase the boards and provide a board and bom and lets those savy enough go at it. ...

Well, if their are no more orders what will be the final price as it stands now? I have given most everybody in Kali a heads up in my /away messages and seeing as I'm on every night :P I'm not sure if we can expect much more from there. Maybe at this point it would be cost effective just to offer ki...

*Cough* No, the layout is not in the project archive -- I don't have it :P It does have two problems BTW, a short to GND of the 556s pin 1 (solder side) and the location of C3. I'm glad you mentioned this Grendal. I remember reading this from previous posts and was gonna ask if this would be fixed ...

Re:

No I would'nt do it by hand except that I had to buy the parts in bulk to build mine, so I went ahead and bought enough to do three. That being the case, it is more of a profit for me just to purchase boards. Also I enjoyed every aspect of building this board EXCEPT for the jumper wires. :? Whew tha...

Re:

Any chance of just getting the boards? I've just assembled one on perfboard and it works like a charm. Would really like to have a couple extra boards to use up the extra parts I have here. Mainly for mounting one in my PC using the Frontx bay. That way I can plug my stick in the front and also move...

I also have experienced a problem with screen flashes as a powerup is picked up. I realise that that is an original part of the game but I'm not sure that the degree of the flash is normal. If I run over several powerups at one time my screen is obscured almost to the point of being hit with a coupl...
