Never saw anything like FS 1 or 2 again which is sad... but I hears the \"X\"-series should be good as well.

However if you like Star Wars, try out some X-Wing Rebellion or stuff like that. These games are also very similar to FS. Old, but good

Yes this should be possible.

But there are a few things to remember:
a) the INI files have changed a bit - new commands are available, some have changed, some added. So you should do that manually
b) Since the resolution now is saved differently you need to set it again.

SDL defaults to windows' joystick calibration. That is right. The main problem was that game became REALLY SLOW, even in the menus. The frame rate was almost zero in the game as well, so there must be some kind of conflict going on between the two controller input interfaces. I'll try that out at m...

Hm I've never tried that, but I think it should work - however those readings are done by SDL so I can'T really make a statement.

If something goes wrong - after startup just check the stdout.txt file - it should print all infos about connected joysticks.

If you try to play online with D1X or D1X-Rebirth you should open UDP 31017 on your router.

To play D2 online you currently should use D2X-XL - D2X-Rebirth supports online mode via UDP/IP in the next version.

You can also use KALI with all versions.
