Re:
You might even think about marketing this outside of D3. Old controller... upgrade to new computer with no gameport... "whatever will I do?!"... ;) Seriously. I realize it is probably a rare need, but a rare need among as many computer users as there are in the U.S. alone could still be w...

D1 and D2 objects...hey, they look good
I've been crusing around the forums and I've been seeing objects from D1 and D2 that look *SO* much better than in the game. How?

O.o This can't be right...
I was playing the final level of D3 and after I blew the Hellion I found this: http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a113/d3jake/wierdpic.jpg I swear on my mighty Magnum-AHT that I didnt make it do this, unless it's some unforseeable eside affect to something I did. I have no .GAM files editing what the...

I figured it out a while back... it took me serveral tries but I got it.

What about D2
I realize that the net capabilities of D2 is limited, but since I got a new-old laptop a while back(150MHz, 32 MB RAM) but as soon as I get a new PCMIA modem card I would like to see if any of you would like to do a co-op game and CTF. It would be my first time. Oh, by the way, with the laptop it ha...

That is one problem I came up with: How would you give a robot a shield? I do think I know what you're talking about, I've seen the gun your talking about. It is kinda like that but... maybe it isnt that different. To contruct it would I have to just attach a Invunerable robot to the turret itself o...

A rather different turret idea
I was sitting in school the other day and I got an idea for a turret that I don't think has been done before. It would be behind a wall-face and the only thing visable would be a oval-dome around it. The special thing about it would be that it fires missles alot like the F/A-22 does in that it "...

Changing the way things look while invisable
Last time I saw an invisable robot I thought to myself 'Man that looks so bad compared to what it was in D1 and D2. So I'm askin' y'all if there would be anyway (aside from drudging through the lines of code that make up D3, or that) to change it back to the style used in D1 and D2.

USB to Serial on a DOS 6.2 system
Well since my laptop is older than me (i'm 15) is doesn't happen to have a USB slot (pity...) so I was wondering if there are any USB to Serial thingies somewhere floating around in space. It would make my life a bit easier.

Compound Objects
Though I'm not here often (damn school...) I haven't gotten a chance to ask about compound objects, like the Jugg or dragon thingie. I'm trying to create a light that is a half of a cylnder that is kinda framed and I was wonder if I could make that into two objects so I can have the light portion bl...
