The PC market is also growing fast in China. In the west where the market situation is more stabilised, machines equipped with Windows are already so dominant that it would be difficult to get people to buy those Linux PCs instead of Windows ones. In China there's a lot more room.

Re: SSRI long term side effects

Basically, this person close to me has lost the will to do anything, deal with any stressful issue, plan logically, or make decisions. Her will to do anything to deal with life's issues has been "dissolved". Makes me wonder if that's related to the reason she started taking the meds more ...

Frankly, I was just being lazy by directing you to the GOP since many are listed there in brief. Ok. Thanks for the effort. Suffice to say, yes, Kerry's image as a self-serving opportunist is being overplayed in this election year but it isn't entirely without merit. It would seem that way. btw, ar...

You can write it off since it is the GOP but it's based on Kerry's record and I doubt the GOP wants to embarrass itself by posting (and subsequently retracting) erroneous information. Thanks for the link. I generally don't write things off completely based on the source alone, but I add a grain or ...

Re: Strange Timtest results

Would it be worth getting a faster proc over a faster graphics with future upgrades? Assuming that nothing drastic happens with D3 and its graphics in the future, why would you plan your future upgrades according to how much they speed up D3? With those kinds of speeds it doesn't really matter much...

I have one whine about the song, though - the singing. Otherwise it'd be fine - the only requirement I generally place for the singing voice is that it fits the music - but it's too dull in a way. Actually I personally don't care so much about the file sizes of animated avatars (except if they're in the megabyte class), just that they're animated is more annoying. Something moving or flashing or whatever on the edge of the page makes reading the text itself a bit less comfortable.
