Re:

I would rather get a Samsung. Whenever I look at a Vizio next to a Samsung, the Samsung has a better picture. I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder. They had a Toshiba at sears next to a Vizio, Toshiba looked better. But then i noticed that the Toshiba was directly connected to a BluRay pl...

Just thought id give you an update. Took a broken Fan, and clipped the wires leading to it. Stripped the ends and spliced them with the LED Bar: http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu18/romeonate/04-28-09_0808.jpg Two wires leading to the fan, one was already on the Yellow/12V, the other was ground. ...

then.. DO NOT combine the yellow and reds. Cause that would make it... +17 V

Only use 1 yellow and 1 black then - yes?

black is ground, obviously; Yellow is 5v and red is 7v IIRC.
Ohh, okay.

So to power the 12v light, I will need to run the Yellow and Red together to the LED., and run both of the black cables together to the LED's other cable.

So.. I would need to tie all 4 of these wires into the two wires coming off the LED Bar ?

Any idea on how I should pair them up?

(Yellow/Black from PSU to Black LED, then Red Black from PSU to White LED) ?

So, doing a little Case Modding - I pickedup a Neon Light bar from the Auto Section at WalMart. Requires a 12v connection. Buying shares in Interplay was never a wise thing to do, even before the economy tanked. As I said in April last year, they had a lot to redeem themselves for. Funny you mentioned that about the PSU. I had a 350watt in my system when I bought this card. That was plenty to run the old one (GeForce 7900GT). But the new one required at least 680watt to run in SLI mode which I plan on doing in the next couple of months. So I had this card on my desk for a week...

Well - I know its not dust, the card is about 2 weeks old.

Maybe the memory itself got too hot. The side-case fan has plenty of air-flow right onto the memory itself - so maybe cranking that one up cooled them down enough.

Thanks for the Input Krom :-)

Yeah - but then again, I don't want to spend more than $200 on this system in total.

The CPU I have should still be able to play most of the new games out there. Sure - not as fast as a Multi-Core system, but its still pretty quick considering I won't have to pay anything extra for it.

Gotcha - yeah the price was an over-estimate. Should include shipping and stuff like that.

Im thinking I am going to go ahead and build the system with a new MoBo. Should be pretty stout - at least the \"weakest\" part of the system will be the CPU, which in itself is pretty fast still.
