Cool that you're back - I've always dreamed of the 1.5 patch for Linux! However, I've got 2 requests for you: 1.) Could you please add the \"-directip\"-commandline option? 2.) Can you add 1920x1080 to the resolutions or instead implement the \"-width\" and \"-height\"-...

Right. Open the file \"~/.loki/descent3/.Descent3Registry\" and append the line:

\"ConnectionSpeed\"=\"Fast\"

Then you will be able to play on the DF.Net-servers for example.

Did anyone contact him? He wrote in a thread that he finished the 1.5 patch and he was about to test it, but since that day he disappeared.

I'd love to see the 1.5 patch for Linux because it will fix the checksum bugs.

Yes, MB, you are right in the point we can't do everything without having permissions. What we're search is a modeller, who can make new ships from scratch. No, we won't call it Descent4, we thought about \"Flight Back\" or \"Material Defenders: Flight Back\". And yes, we know th...

I'm not interested in D4 as long as they do not release it for Linux - and I mean a real release - not such a buggy program as Loki's D3!

Knowledge about Outrage Sound Format wanted!

Hey, I am searching for some source-code about converting Outrage's Sound Format (*.osf) to WAVE-audio-files (*.wav) or in the other direction. I couldn't find any useful code, neither in the D3SDK nor in the D3EDIT-source. Does anyone have some C++-source-code or knowledge about what OSF is? (e.g. ...

Problem compiling on Linux

Hey, I wanted to download the newest d2x-xl for Linux. I've unpacked the source and the makefiles into the right directories. Running configure-script works, but if I run make, I get this: philipp@kubuntu:~/d2x-xl$ make make all-recursive make[1]: Entering directory '/home/philipp/d2x-xl' Making all...

Sorry, I forgot this forum... I got it compiled now (with gcc-2.95) and I can join servers now. But if I shoot, nobody sees my shot and I can't kill someone. The version of my InstaReap-sources were different from these on our servers. So I've started my own server and tried again - no succes! Maybe...

Um... You know, the *.d3m is not a hog-file, it is a so-file. It was compiled, that mod, yes, but:

Error initializing game module!
