oh wait a sec....I HAVE THIS CD!!!! :O Got it as a birthday present a few years ago...couldn't play it because I was too stupid back then to know that I needed a 3dFX card :P

could HUD messages appear above the inventory icons? I don't think it's critical to always have the inventory icons fully visible all the time :)

Something strange with the sound in D1 Level 1...

The room where the Red key is stored....I keep on hearing the \"cloak on\" SFX, even when no robots are in sight. This does not happen in any other part of the level...just that one room :/

I love the dimming of the weapon lights!!!! :)

However (lighting related), this looks fudgy to me after blowing out all the ceiling light....shed some light on this issue please!! :D

To keep the D1 experience as authenic as possible...\"missle view\" should be always disabled in D1 missions

Took me a few months to friggin notice that :D

also: we really need to open up the custom background image discussion again....it is definitely not Descent 2 anymore :P

First of all...the Descent 3 source code was never released....nor will it probably never since Interplay and Outrage have disappeared off the planet.

I don't think ANYONE wants their d2x.ini file overwritten....I will probably exclude this file from being extracted by default, ...

I had some time to play Descent 3 under Wine.....it does work. Some noticable problems was that brightness adjustment did not work, and the mouselook was very slow even with sensitivity turned way up (I think that has something to do with the framecap....I didn't have enough brains to try the -frame...
