An E&C move? I'd think a split would be better. I can't see the craigslist posting, says it was deleted by its author. What was it that you bought, Flip? There's a pit building forum on simhq.com . I thought that BUBBALOU had posted his pit in there, too, but that may have been a different forum...

Re: So, need to get Descent 3 installed back onto my machine
The vortex client works for connecting to both games and chats and mission-grabbing: http://www.slyclan.de/ Descent Valhalla has a ton of resources for all three games, including a chat and tracker and downloads including the level editing tools, modding tools, a huge selection of missions, etc. htt...

Is descent.cx down?
I can't seem to load descent.cx, including the server list. I'm glad for the Descent Valhalla tracker, it's just I've been so used to always going to descent.cx to get games. Is the site down? edit: copied from my post in the other dbb: Hmm. Maybe "down" isn't quite the right word, and I p...

Re: Apparently I can't make exit tunnels anymore...
I still have this problem. I think there may be a problem with my Rebirth install, or maybe a problem with the D1 data files in my "Rebirth directory", as I'll call it. I was able to get a level with an exit that did not work in my installation of Rebirth to work flawlessly in Descent 1 DO...

I'm planning on taking up the tutorials again sometime soon because I have been wanting to get into D3 level editing again. Never released anything though because I've been much more comfortable with D1 and D2 level creation.

11 years is pretty old in kitty years. An 11 year old cat is equivalent to a 60 year old human. Think someone's 60 year old grandma could even do a 100 meters in a minute ? :P A cheetah will live, on average, up to about 12 years in the wild and as much as 20 in captivity, so I'd say that'd be the ...

I've been wondering if I could modify this (and if so, how I could) to work with it.. ...specifically,...

The medicine was for sore, itchy, scratchy throats.

Looking for a Macro Editor that allows colored macros
I believe it is the same program as the one asked for here: http://descentbb.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=11017&p=176317 but I didn't want to bump a topic that was so old. It had a WYSIWYG editor for the taunts, but I believe it also ran in DOS, and as such I would have to use DOSBox or something...

1) How do you come up with an initial concept? For me, I seem to be able to plan my levels best when I play many popular levels, try to see what makes them so good and/or (re)playable, and then imagine a basic layout that incorporates these things. Basically, I just look at other levels and do the ...

Ok I have a problem with making exit tunnels - they don't work anymore. I make the tunnel with the exit in the front and the final cube marked with "end of exit tunnel" or whatever it is, and I also make sure to provide the .txb file with the same name as the level file. Here is a dropbox ...

Hmm.. In my digital design class we have "don't cares", which I think is where the voltage level could be either a 1 or a 0 and no matter which one it is, the logical value of whatever circuit element it goes to wouldn't change. Something like that. I've slept since we actually did anythin...
