Re: Descent Inspired Shooter Live-Stream tonight

No, I mean there is no way currently to slide left and right. I can slide up with space and down with shift, but there is no left/right. It's like flying with an arm missing... As for the story, if it's an optional element, do you REALLY need it? Descent: mercenary that shoots robots and sterilizes ...

Re: Descent Inspired Shooter Live-Stream tonight

It looks...weird. Granted, 6DoF games always interest me, but it looks so weird in fact, that I don't think you're going to attract many buyers/players to your game. Nearly all of the Tron games, except the old Atari games, flopped pretty hard, Tron 2.0 barely managing to pull a profit. There's been...

Even better solution is my next project, using 3 HD projectors on an angled surface. /TT\ I've seen it done for in-home flight simulator cockpits and I'm curious to see how well it works for normal computing... Re: nvidia 680 and 3 monitors

I bought 3x Dell 24" screens and removed their cases. I remounted them in their base casing and trimmed around the edges so that they'd fit together flush. Then I built a mount out of PVC tubing and mounted them to it with the 4-screw mount on the back of the original panel casings. Once mounte...

Garner is a web dev for some universities in England.

Think I found wEvil...

No line on Vertigo. There were too many people with the nick back in the day to figure out which one might be him and I don't remember his real name.

Narfig went over to the Into Cerebron project.

Daggerfall was awesome, led me to play Morrowind and Oblivion.

Morrowind lived up to the huge scale of Daggerfall, and while Oblivion *felt* bigger, it wasn't really...and ended up being very much out of scale with the previous two games.
