i like subway, if the unmodded version would be up i would play it all day. the level itself is very good made, just the weapons are overtuned, well or i just dont learn how to use them right. want levels that suck? look at the serverlist, all the supersmall 2-room / 15-faces level played all day. t...

i like the idea of a dynamic cockpit-view, shaking on hard moves and weapons-impact. this could be a serveroption, enabled and disabled by servers. d3 had the dynamic lighning already, so a ship can hide into the dark if the server wasnt on fullbright ships. a nighview switch would be fine, where th...

rotational animations working fine for d3-ships, i have done that with the vauss-barrels at the pyrogt:
http://cloud.prohosting.com/digijo/pyrogt/
i dont think that other types of animations are possible for d3-ships though.

hi arol, hmm got your hardware specs from the other thread, they are very low, even for a so old game like d3. what operation system are you running? if you have a windows os, what os? what is your directx version number then? 9.0b is the newest. another question is, how big is your harddrive and ho...

permission client/server netcode is the best netcode for online games? and its d3 implementation sucks? hmm in my opinion p/cs is only good for lans in any game. the c/s, c/sd modes from d3 are mostly perfect cause it gives a very smooth gameplay impression even on higher pings, and didnt we permane...

you would get most performance win out of a new mainboard + cpu, d3 on a 2000+ amd xp or a smiliar intel-chip makes it feel like a new game. graficboard is secondary, your radeon 7500 will do the job fine, a 8500 or a same generation geforce so has lots more power and the price for it on ebay isnt w...

cx offers a automated process with a batchfile but i guess that wont work on mac. so do enter the ip/port manual in d3: d3->multiplayer->direct tcp/ip-> type in the adress like this: 217.160.167.30:2094 (for example, 217.160.167.30 is the server ip-adress, 2094 is the server portnumber) and then pre...
