Fusion & Tricording

Fusion> There will be a fusion-like cannon in the game that requires the skill and aptitude that the original fusion cannon had. I personally was not a big fan of the fusion cannon as I stated earlier in the forum, I am a gauss cannon / phoniex cannon man myself, but myself and my development team i...

GameSpy

We are looking to GameSpy for internal match-making and we have several people offer to host servers. We have one of our own and widely expect that the masses will also help support it.

I personally never cared for the Fusion cannon. My old love was the Gauss Cannon and the Phoniex. Interesting to know that though.

It uses a 3D engine.

It uses a 3D engine. The engine is very fast and behaves very much like the D1/D2 engines.

D1 and D2

D1 and D2. Please keep in mind it is not part of the Descent series. It is a game of its own that will be Descent-like. It will be an XYZ-axis, action/deathmatch style game with mazes. Different storyline and similar gameplay. ;)

Not a problem.

Also, we will be launching and community for the new game. I just hope that the stir hasn't frightened anyone. The support from the player is extremely essential to the survival of the game, we feel that there needs to be a level of trust and communication between us and the supporting community. Zach

Mr. Toschlog's involvment

I was the one who spoke with Matt. He is doing consulting. He doesn't have a coding hand in it. We have been conversing with him about it because it originally came from his mind. He is offering us assistance; he is not helping in the aspect of development. When trying to share a vision in it's clea...
