I'm also noticing a trend now where D2x-w32 is dropping packets after the ship explodes in multiplayer against players using D2 DOS v1.2 and D2_3DFX. The powerups aren't dropping after death like they should be. On the other persons end they see nothing. I've had this happen twice today on Kali with...

Well, that issue is fixed... Hell's Gauntlet v2.0: With Lightmap (1.4.24) http://missions.dyndns.org/misc/screenshots/hellsgauntLM2.jpg However when you alt+enter to minimize, the pixel shader goes back to doing what it did in the previous versions on that lava texture. This same thing also reverts ...

If you scroll up you'll notice I already posted my system specs in my first post. I'm also well aware of the performance hit, but I wasn't expecting something that drastic on something so old. That isn't your fault, I'll just have to wait until optimizations can be made. Anyways... If I remember cor...

I'm just wondering why lightmapping on an old ass game like D2 takes my framerate from 60fps with AAx2, AFx2 down to 14-16fps in fairly small levels at 1024x768... It's also causing one of the lava textures not to be rendered correctly and lightmapped correctly... Hell's Gauntlet 2.0: No Lightmaps h...

D2 started it all for me. I'm 24 now and I started playing when I was 16. Doesn't seem like it has been 8 years already, but time flies when you're a Kali whore. In retrospect, I started playing D1 around the same time and it took over as my favorite. Something about slinging that damn purple around...

Probably Cafe material but all the same I'm glad to hear everything is alright. You're never really prepared for moments such as these. Not so much how to handle them, but the effects they have on you and your family. It is a shame these things even happen, but thankfully your daughter is alright. I...

I wasn't aware that D2x-w32 could detect what versions people were using and neuter itself accordingly until now. So it really isn't as big of a problem in the long run I guess. Bubba, for the record hardly anybody uses D2_3DFX anymore. When they did they still forgot to uncheck bright player ships ...

Alright, Zoom does work. That was something I overlooked, thanks. Knowing the people in the kali community, just the fact that D2x-w32 has more options and abilities available to you, whether or not they affect MP or not, is enough for players to cry hack. We know that just by upgrading they would h...

Kudos & Concerns regarding D2x-w32
Being out of the loop on this project for months I decided to download 1.4.5 last night. After an early upsetting discovery and a clean re-install of D2 + v1.4.5 it is amazing to me how much you've improved things Diedel. So many wonderful enhancements and yes, even the midi volume slider works for ...

I find it fitting because it represents the dualities of human nature. On the one hand the majority of us can agree that we want peace in this world. I would think that is something universal worldwide. However, on the other hand the world at large continues to develop technologies that have the pot...
