I love quad supes. They are perfect to switch to in the middle of a fusion dogfight. It breaks up the timing of the shots and sometimes you can rake the other ship across the side with a couple blasts from quads

They're really quite powerful, too.

Since trifusion is composed of 3 fusion blobs instead of 2, it is mathematically 1.5x more difficult to harness and control. This is pure math and cannot be denied.

Wrong. The MD is the cheapest weapon in Descent. But that's another story.

A fusion shot can be dodged. An MD shot cannot.

And yes, I use MD. It's part of the game, so I don't cry about it, unlike some people do about Fusion

Trifusion is inherently more difficult to use than regular fusion because the fusion blobs are clustered together, while regular fusion blobs are spread apart.
