FAH Mon Question

I have FAH Monitor running on three of my rigs and each one shows the other two working on the same WU. Like this: 92% JAXBOX 02h 37mn 92% JAXBOX2 02h 37mn 92% JAXBOX3 02h 37mn Here's my Client Config. file: <client> <name>JAXBOX</name> <directory>C:\Program Files\F@H\</directory> </client> <client>...

Ok, thanx for the suggestions. Without going into all the gory details, I found I have a mobo that won't run at 400FSB. I will run just fine at 333. Found this out after playing with safe mode and fail-safe defaults. Confirmed it by swapping out a spare N2U400-A board that I have which is now runnin...

The ThermalTake Silent Tower is a nice unit and mounts to any mobo that is drilled. This big puppy bolts on.

I haven't a clue as to what you're doing, but I do know, from talking with Stryker and others, that kind of work can be extremely tedious and frustrating. Considering what you had to work with, I find your efforts highly commendable. I like it.

Keep up the good work.

I set the card back to defaults. No help. I uninstalled the card and swapped it out with a Voodoo3. Still freezes so I guess it's not the card. I did a system restore to one month back with same results. Checked voltages at the ATX connector. All good. Event Viewer shows red alerts for DCOM and Serv...

My main rig is possessed

About three weeks ago it started freezing up intermittantly. No keyboard or mouse control. I'd reboot and it would be ok, so I wrote it off as a strange thing that comps do once in a while. Now it's gone hardcore. Immediately on bootup or within five minutes it freezes. Yesterday afternoon I booted ...

Thanx guys.

Vander, actually it's running on Auto, but has 66, 100 and 133 FSB available. I found that too, MD. Problem is when you click on Product Info you get a blank page. So, I'll see if I can pick up an 800 or 900 cheap and play around.

Trying to find out how big a CPU I can plug into THIS BOARD . It's in an IBM 2270 running a Celeron 566. System Information says it's a Genuine Intel x86 Family 6 Model 8 Stepping 3. The only thing I could get off Google says it's a Socket 7. Stickers on the board say ID #211890042210406, Rev A01. T...

I just switched over to SBC so I can put my 4th rig online. It's only a Celeron 566 so I'll set it up to do small work units and I can run it 24/7. I'll also go to work on my team members to see if we can't get some more help.

Just happened to me. Went to Cafe, Ethics and Tech, clicked on one or two posts in each. All's fine. Clicked on Multiplayer and nothing happened. Stopped it, tried again, stopped it, clicked reload. Nothing. Rebooted Mozilla and it works but it's slow.

Power Issues

Over my years of visiting this forum I've seen a lot of posts concerning this issue. System that wouldn't start, would reboot on their own, or would shut down. We really have no way of knowing just how many work units of what size are available. Consider this. 150 projects listed and over a million computers, world wide, working on them.
