Windows XP 64bit and Ghost

I'm planning on doing my yearly hard drive format tonight. I just received my copy of Windows XP 64 bit as well (anybody else running it? how is it?). I was going to get everything installed and then ghost it so that I could do this much quicker next time. The problem is that I don't have a copy of ...

$150 is dirt cheap for a wedding. My parents used to do a lot of weddings (Dad's a pianist, Mom's a classical vocalist). They charge $400 for my Dad to do the music and my mom to sing a couple of songs. And they don't go to the rehearsal. $400 is cheap for a wedding. Consider the fact that somebody ...

That would be pretty cool... but that's not the point of the thread. I'm trying to keep my current config and get rid of the annoyance of being without a stick for two weeks (and no, I don't have a Best Buy close... and CC sucks).

I was sliding 4 ways. I could've tried something like that, but for the most part, the up and right switches on the hats are the ones that are blown.

Anyone know if my idea is feasible?

Joystick Mod Question

One of the reasons that I quit playing D3 was the fact that I was wearing through hat switches in 4 weeks, then having to wait two weeks for a replacement (despite my replacement plan from Circuit City). So after getting bored with all the groundpounders and beating Freespace a few times, I figured ...

I'll second that. AMD64, NForce 3 board and ATI X800 Pro here. Never had a problem.

I'm with TopGun, if I want to play games online, I'll use a PC. I absolutely love Zelda and Metroid, and I'd buy the Revolution soley for those titles (along with Super Smash Brothers). Add to that the capability to play any other Nintendo console game, and you have a heck of a system.

Very Slow CD Reading

I recently updated my BIOS and I've since found that my CD-ROM read speed is extremely slow. WMP can't even play a CD, and installing something from a CD takes forever and a day. Is there a BIOS setting that may have been changed? Specs: AMD Athlon 64 3000 Chaintech VNF3-250 1GB ADATA PC4000 RAM Win...

No, it does not reboot when not playing games. So it is probably something with the video card. The fan works fine (that was the first thing I checked). The case is kinda weird in that it doesn't have a spot to mount a rear fan (or at least one larger than 60mm). Currently I have an 80mm fan in the front blowing in, the CPU fan blowing on the CPU, and the side fan as the exhaust. I'll try running it caseless and try some different drivers.
