Temps are fine. It idles around 39C and at load it hits 46C. I'm gonna try one more increment up in voltage and see if that solves the problem.

Ok, finally got around to overclocking it some more. I've got it running at 10*240, but it would only run Prime95 Torture Test for 12 minutes at stock voltage. So I put the voltage at 1.525 and it ran for 26 minutes. Should I go to 1.550V or just back it down some?

I didn't see anything in the BIOS that reported that temp. I will check on the motherboard CD to see if there is a monitor utility. I don't remember seeing one when I installed everything though.

The level was "Damage". I fixed the texture corruption, but now it isn't retaining my brightness setting. It always starts the game way too dark, and I have to go in manually and adjust it up .02 points, apply it, and then put it down .02 points and apply that to get it back how it was. On...

You do relize that the OS you are ordering is not an OS at all right? License only means there are no disks. However, if you already have a XP install disk then you are fine. Yeah, I've already got the Windows XP Pro disk. There's no way I was going to spend an extra $40 or so to get another disk. :P

I know that the A64s overclock differently than the XPs. The FSB is built into the chip and not changeable, correct? So I can overclock without having to get some better RAM. I've heard that the 3000+ can usually easily make 2300Mhz. Edit: Crud. That deal on the X800XT charges tax, oh well. I also d...

New system (v2)

I posted a couple of months ago about getting a new system with Socket 939 and PCI-E. Now that the S939 reviews are out, I'm thinking that I can't afford to go in that direction. $500 on the CPU (3500+, the lowest end CPU on S939) and a good GPU is just going to run me too much. So... WinXP Crashed... help?

My brother was getting BSOD while booting today. This was the error message (no driver mentioned):

stop 0x0000008E (0xC0000005,0x03020100, 0xF7A7E4F8, 0x00000000)

The number after the 'A' has been 8 and 6 as well. I tried a repair install, but that didn't work. I can boot into safe mode. Help?
