Hamachi would be an easier solution for those not technically inclined. Just form a channel, and launch the game. Thats it. I do recommend that you setup IPX as follows: http://www.bakercountyonline.com/md-2389/IPX.jpg Also, disable IPX on your main NIC, leaving it only enabled on the hamachi virtu...

Have you tried booting off another CD? Try downloading a small boot disc like Puppy Linux ( direct download ) and burning it to a CD. If you're comfortable around high voltage, you could probably adjust the tube so that it aims the guns properly. Its a simple adjustment of a couple pots, usually on the back of the tube itself. Just don't do this alone, just incase you get zapped by mistake. :) Flyback transformers are fun, and for...

I've had mine for a couple years now, and it works perfectly fine. Its a little stiff at first, due to the spring they have around the center shaft, but you'll get used to it rather quickly. (The spring is there to help prevent the plastic clips on the pots from breaking.)

Actually, playing the game on insane will teach you how to properly dodge things. :) (Though it would greatly help if you played through one of the D*x projects. Both of the current ones have updated homing missile code so they are no longer track according to your frames per second.)
