If SP runs my respect for her would sky rocket. If she is just pulling a trump then she is more of a joke then the guy she's taking after.

I was really excited about RP in 2008, watched alot of his speeches, I do respect the guy.
But he is not a serious condendor for the Republican nomination. The machine hates him too much.

MITT ROMNEY - Who complains that Obamacare, (which is a requirement for all states) is bad for the nation, but somehow his Romneycare (which is a requirement for HIS state) is ok because we need more sense like that. So, that leaves Sarah Palin as the only serious contender because the U.S. is full...

Newt, I've come to fear/suspect, has fallen into the John McCain trap of desperation to be Elected. Newt was, at one point, one of the true Conservatives I had great respect for. I think there is alot of truth here, but while I respect his intelligence, I don't really respect him as a man. I find m...

Exactly and Gore could have pulled that trigger just as easily as Bush did. If you think Al Gore would have invaded Iraq then your tin foil hat needs to be loosened up a bit. There is no way, he is doing this for ratings. However, a VP pick wouldn't totally shock me if the Republican candidate was pretty far down in the polls.
if republicans don't pick someone who is moderate, this election will be a landslide for Dems.

I've included below the ones that made it "on-air" at CNN. I (still) consider CNN to be the most fair of the big three cable news channels. Yet, when I read these replies its just frustrating; it's as if whenever a news channel allows itself to briefly delve into "opinion," then ...

Recall that after the end of the first gulf war, the US pulled back and allowed Saddam to gank a bunch of his own people. No, that's not at all my point. The Iraq war was also claimed to be to "help the people" out. But I think that before we invade a country or take military action to "help" someone out, that, as a "best practice," we should wait for them to ask us for help first. And if...

Obama is now the second iteration of Bush. Now? He's been Bush's 3rd term since the campaign started. And to his credit, he campaigned as such. I think alot of liberals are mad at him because they assumed he was just "saying that stuff to get elected." I'm really not sure why conservative...

The point of freedom of speech is to allow people to express opinions and ideas that might hurt, distress, or annoy others. Sometimes far more than the hurt of a punch in the face... I agree, but how does being at the funeral, rather then say the capital, further their message that "God Hates ...

I think Foils a good choice, but come to think of it, I can't name any regular that I would think is a bad choice. We are a small group that have been around for a long time. So in that sense, I think all of this hoopla is a bit like mustard in a pocket watch.
