1.5.151: #6: I am having a problem in Multiplayer where as soon as I press the f8 key, the typing area instantly appears then disappears. This makes it so I can't type anything. It seemed only to be happening after playing for a little while. I haven't narrowed down what I did to cause it. But the f...

Version 1.5.151: If you're on the main menu and in windowed mode, d2x grabs the mouse as soon as the automatic demo starts playing. This is annoying if I'm trying to do stuff in other windows. And I'm guessing that if Descent 3 sold well, we would've seen Descent 4 go into full production. Maybe. I guess we'll never know. I remember Volition launch a Descent 4 site with preliminary information on Descent 4 and from what I recall, Volition had an agreement with Interplay for Interplay to ...

Hmmmm... Interesting. I wonder why Interplay didn't make a Descent movie. Does anyone have more detailed information on this apparent Descent movie? Interplay started running into financial difficulties in 1999. Eventually they were acquired by Titus and then the whole shebang sank. If Descent 3 ha...

Re:
Interplay held the copyrights for the D2 tracks, and I believe those are no longer valid. You'd be wrong. Copyrights take 75 years to expire. Parallax did not hold the copyright to the Redbook music nor did they actually own the trademarks on the box and manual designs. ;) Basically yeah, but I don...

I am...hmm... Shocked? Surprised? This is actually news to me, and it's years old! :P So Interplay dropped Descent 100%. That means that the only remaining holder is Parallax(possibly Volition). Hmm...that means that good 'ol Matt/Mike could do up D4 on their own and publish through THQ perhaps. Ve...

Try starting it from "New Game" instead of "New Singleplayer Game." There's a bug that won't play Vertigo if you try to start it from "New Singleplayer Game."Jonathan Paskiewicz wrote: Hey! Descent II: Vertigo Series won't in D2X-XL!

I suggest that there not be any hard coded trackers. I think all trackers should be specified through the command line options (ini file). For the past 2 days, there have been no trackers available, and I'd like to be able to test each tracker individually (by modifying the command line options). Al...

Nope, this is just going to be a launcher for D2X-XL, ATM... D3 already has its own launcher, and the command lines needn't be changed often. D2X-XL on the other hand, has so many features and configurable options via the INI / commandline that a launcher (which it lacks) would be very useful. I th...
