I'm not speaking strictly market investment. Invest in anything. Start a business, do flip projects, buy some tools and do a job on the side. Become a distributor for something. You gotta spend money to make money. But you have to be willing to do it.

Re: Is newt going after the hispanic vote?

If people want to succeed, they need to remember that this formula:

1) make money
2) spend money

fails

It's actually:

1) make money
2) invest money (in every basket you can get ahold of)

Re: Is newt going after the hispanic vote?

Fail. For one, a person has to have disposable income in the first place. If a family has wages no higher than the poverty level, around $22,350 in the U.S., they aren't going to have enough left over disposable income to buy those extra things that drive the economy. If business doesn't pay their ...

2) The Bible is historically reliable... except for when it isn't. The universe created in 6 days, the Tower of Babel, the worldwide flood... most people no longer see this as historical. No, 36 wasn't a typo, it was a literal day and a half of straight riding. But the thing is it needed to be done, and I had no problem doing it. It's a day wage of $100 no matter what, typically for 8-14 hour days. Some days (very few and far in-between) we don't do anything but feed the horses for a...

I think that much of the influence that religon has had on the development of mankind hasn't had anything to do with the faith itself, but the evil men who use and distort it to manipulate the masses for power.

Well, it's one of those things where you have to have a certain viewpoint to think it's funny. If you think along the same lines as the artist, the exageration is the funny thing. With any viewpoint of objectivity, any political stance can be taken as propaganda. homie don’t play dat Word, gangsta.

For house heat, we burned about 3 cords of wood, which me and my buddies went into the forrest and pulled out ourselves, so with the gas money to get there and operate the chain saws I would say it was about $50-60.
