The Robotic Teenager
Someone with a warped sense of humour in Japan has invented the perfect robotic teenager. It never comes out of it's room. every time you push a switch to wake it up, it immediately turns it off again and goes back to bed. Persevere long enough and it even throws a tantrum. I got a giggle out of thi...

Re: Osama Bin Laden Dead!
I would give his body to the New York police and firefighters. Maybe they can find a good place to hang him for display purposes. Bee I like this idea very much. I've never been one to wish for the death of anyone, but in this case I'll gladly make an exception. (Singing very loudly) "...Ding ...

Re: An interesting comparison...
You know, when I heard about the League of Arab States asking for UN/US intervention in setting up a no-fly zone, I was reminded that many of the member states that were asking for it have their own considerable military forces, so why don't they do it? I thought if I were president I would draft a...

I'm with Null in that I don't believe Iraq and Libya are directly comparable. That being said, personally I believe that a sky-rocketing oil price due to paranoia and opportunistic speculation is a larger factor in US involvement in Libya than any other US domestic political consideration(s). Bahrai...

Re: 6DOF Game Miner Wars
This is odd. According to the people running the Intel exhibits at the GDC, Miner Wars is not being "showcased" or "featured". In fact, it is not even on their radar as a 'target app' to be shown or demo'd at all. Would one of the MW developers explain this discrepancy? I put yo...

IIRC, Roid once made a post here about taking Piracetam during college. Piracetam has far fewer side effects than the drugs you mention and a proven efficacy. It is such a benign drug, it was (still is?) available as a food supplement.
